To be eligible to become a BGF client, you must provide medical evidence confirming your HIV diagnosis and be living in NSW. You can either refer yourself or be referred by someone else.
Once your eligibility is confirmed, you will be allocated a case worker who works with you to identify your current needs, including the level of financial assistance you may be seeking. Financial assistance is not guaranteed unless there has been prior consultation with the case worker.
