Volunteer with us
Volunteering at a charitable organisation is one of the most rewarding and impactful activities you can take part in. Donating your free time to a not-for-profit organisation like Bobby Goldsmith Foundation (BGF) is one of the most practical ways to positively impact the lives of those most in need.
At BGF, volunteering has been a vital principle since its inception in 1984, when support was given to Bobby at his time of greatest need.
40 years later, support from BGF’s volunteers remain a strong and stable pillar our organisation and clients rely upon.
Whether it’s volunteering at a fundraising event, helping in the Sydney office with our administrative work or with our health and wellbeing programs, you can be assured that you will be making a real difference.
Plus, on a personal level, you'll make new friends, develop valuable professional skills and gain an insight into the work we do (and have lots of fun!)
We are continually seeking passionate volunteers (18+ years old) to join our dedicated team of volunteers. When you become a part of our volunteer pool, our team will contact you directly and you will have a chance to apply for various volunteering roles. Please fill out the volunteer registration form should you wish to be part of BGF’s volunteer pool.
We value the unique backgrounds, experiences and contributions that each person brings to our community and we encourage and celebrate diversity. People living with HIV, First Nations people, those identifying as LGBTQIA+, females, people of all ages, with disabilities and culturally and linguistically diverse people are encouraged to be part of our volunteer team.
Our aim is to create a workforce that reflects the community in which we live.
