LEARN ABOUT US
What is the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS)?
The Australian government provides funding to eligible people with a disability through the National Disability Insurance Scheme. The NDIS aims to connect people with a disability to services in their community so they can receive the support they need, access new skills and improve their overall quality of life.
How to apply for the NDIS
First, determine if you’re eligible for the NDIS by visiting the NDIS website, contacting your local NDIS office, calling 1800 800 110 or emailing enquiries@ndis.gov.au
Request your NDIS Access Request form and return it by email to enquiries@ndis.gov.au or by mail to PO Box 700, Canberra ACT 2061
After submitting your request, the NDIA will review your application and make a decision. You will be notified of the outcome, and if eligible, you will receive information on the next steps.
If approved, you can start planning your support. This could involve working with an NDIS planner or local area coordinator to develop a customised plan for your goals.
How much does BGF charge?
Our services are priced in accordance with the NDIS Pricing Arrangements and Price Limits. For the most up-to-date information on pricing, please refer to the NDIS price guide.
The NDIA updates their price guide on 1 July each year. Following any changes, you will be notified in writing and your plan will be updated with the new prices.
