Once our team has reviewed your referral form, we’ll be in touch. If eligible for BGF services, we’ll arrange your initial intake appointment.
Work with our experienced team to develop a personalised support plan that addresses your specific needs. Once your plan is in place, our team can start working with you to achieve your goals.
How does BGF support clients?
We have been supporting people living with HIV for more than 40 years. We specialise in support for all people living with HIV, from all walks of life who are seeking progressive, supportive care.
Our financial counselling services include:
- Helping you to understand and manage your finances through financial literacy and budgeting
- Identifying which debts are priorities and how to tackle them
- Exploring options for managing and reducing debt
- Advocating and negotiating with banks and other financial institutions on your behalf
- Assisting with welfare, insurance and superannuation systems
- Providing advice and assistance with bankruptcy
- Identifying if you need referrals for legal advice or other services.
